Portals – a branding concept

The brief

After conducting a broader brand refresh, Unipro wanted to investigate the idea of creating a sub-brand that focussed on a particular service offering; web portals.

Web portals were targeted because the business is an Outsystems development partner, and one of the benefits of low-code platforms such as Outsystems is the speed in which web portals can created and delivered. As a result, web portals made up a significant percentage of low-code projects.

The business also wanted to promote the relatively simple generation of web portals as a solution to the pains if digital transformation experienced by their clients. They believed that by delivering web portals at pace, a business could continue to innovate and start the process of transforming their data centres and testing out proof of concepts to unblock stalled digital transformation programmes.

The solution

The solution was to create a modern aesthetic that highlighted how web portals can not only transport a business to another plane or dimension (advancement), but also how they can be seen as a viewport into different areas such as user needs, data design and more.

The bold type was used to portray how simple web portals can provide vital information, data and learnings that can be used by a business to direct the next stage of their digital transformation programme.
